My art is shaped by my experiences with natural phenomena, vegetation, local architecture, and the ever-evolving conversation between nature and humankind.  My roots, including my Taiwanese-American heritage and birth in San Francisco, combined with my time living in New Orleans for over two decades, have directed me towards my portrayals of significant landscapes.  

Nature is a constant, moving conversation that is calming and infinite.  Despite the choice of specific locations, I want viewers to find universal calmness in my art and be able to dissolve into the dynamic portraits of nature, all while experiencing the tension of humans and human-constructed buildings interacting with the scene.
